Racing Returns

After a break, a very long break some sort of racing has returned, Lat week a few members of the club returned to the wonderful world of Time Trialling and one took her fist steps or pedal strokes should we say.

Castle come race circuit was and will be for the next fe weeks the distination on a Wednesday evening for a closed road race organised in the strictest accordance to COVID regulations. The normal head wind into the home straight was reported by the riders but they dusted of their TT bikes and set out to see what they could do.

Claire Mills struck out on to the tarmac in her first race with out a"full gimp suit and pointy helmet" to take the ten miles in 28:26.06, Mathew Norris completed it in 24:18.25 and fastest rider from Sodury was Tom Saunders with 23:54.7.
