Much has happened over the last 2 weeks with the TT crew, we have grown in number and held our first TT in 2 years, and to say it went without a hitch would be an understatement. Our thanks go to all those who came out and gave their time and support so that we could race.
It was another good night for weather and attendance, 25 riders in total took to the rough roads of South Gloucestershire, and the Sodbury riders had some good times. Matthew Norris was 14th with 19:27, Matt Reynolds was 8th with 18:10, Jo Jago 7th with 18:01 (come on Jo 2s !), Tom Saunders was 6th with 17:57 (on a road bike), Chris Britten was 4th with 17:47, the race was won by Rob Hall from SAS with a time of 17:23.
This weeks time trial, was hotly contested with 29 entrants and an even bigger turn out from Sodbury, Tom Dereskynski came out for his first TT and popped his cherry with a 27th place and a time of 21:56, Rebecca Britton was 26th with 21:49, Ian Sparrow was 20th with 19:22, Matt Norris claimed a course PB and 17th with 18:43, Mark Pinker was 16th with 18:25, Jo Jago was again first women and 11th over all with 18:12, Chris Britton came back from a long break from the bike and was our first top 10 rider with 18:07, Chris Britten was 8th with 17:52, Jeremy Tiley was 6th with a time of 17:27, Darren Pittman just pipped him to 5th by 3s with 17:24 and Tom Saunders was the fastest Sodbury rider with 4th and a cracking time of 17:16. The race was taken by Chris Davis with a time of 16:44, Boom.
